A distinguished member of design hotelsTM. Rockhouse Hotel is comprised of several thatch roofed, octagonal cottages of timber and stone built either along the water edge for privacy or hidden in a jungle of exotic gardens. Lazy ceiling fans and large four poster beds with mosquito netting reflect the laid back atmosphere. The cliffside freshwater pool was carved from solid rock, as were the ladders and stairs that lead down into Pristine Cove for swimming and snorkeling. The wood-hewnterraced restaurant and bar offers some of the best food in Negril, a new Jamaican cuisine featuring the flavorful spice of curries and the sweetness of tropical fruits. The restaurant is suspended directly over the water making it one of the best places to watch the sun go down.

After exiting the airport take a right turn and follow the road into the town of Montego Bay. Follow the main highway west all the way along the coast to Negril. Note that the water should be on your right hand side. It is about a 90 minute drive. Once you enter Negril the main road you come in on becomes Norman Manley Blvd and you follow thos all the way to the roundabout in Negril Square. Take a right turn around the roundabout and onto the Westend Road. The Rockhouse is 2 1/2 miles from the roundabout on your right hand side.
