Situated on the prestigious West Cliff - The Wessex is one of the leading hotels in Bournemouth and a warm welcome always awaits you with our team of friendly and professional staff. The hotel houses a luxurious leisure club which includes an indoor and outdoor pool - sauna and steam room and a well-equipped gym. The leisure club also offers a full programme of classes in our dance and fitness studio - including aerobics - tap - body pump - step and aqua aerobics. A total refurbishment of the bar - lounge and reception area was completed in February 2006. The hotel also offers 2 locally renowned restaurants - one Italian and the other serving a range of local and international dishes - and there is a large spacious lounge and bar area serving 24-hour drinks and snacks to residents. In the summer months - July and August - family entertainment is offered.
