Rocky Point or Puerto Penasco Mexico is a great family, group, or individual destination with something for all.

Mexico is one of the top vacation destinations for many Americans. It is a country that offers different attractions from archeological sites to costal towns. If your travel plans include beautiful beaches, the excitement of ocean going banana boat rides, fishing charters, ATV rentals, sunsets and shopping, we invite you to discover Puerto Penasco, better known to Americans as Rocky Point.

Water sports including parasailing and scuba diving are enjoyed year-round, and the fishing is excellent. Some folks just like to relax on the beach and take an occasional walk or dip. The Old Port is the place for shopping, with bargains galore. Arts, crafts, and jewelry are available in all price ranges and quality. Most of the local merchants speak excellent English, making your shopping trip easy fun. Don*t miss the fine restaurants where you can explore Sonoran, continental, or eclectic cuisine. Fresh seafood, brought in daily, is on every menu, as well as Mexican specialties. You can buy fresh shrimp and seafood to take home at fish markets along the ocean front in the Old Port. Shopping is plentiful. There are grocery stores, fruit stands, hardware stores, and of course, lots of curio shops. Puerto Penasco has beautiful beaches open to the public. The best swimming is from May through October. Boating, sunbathing and water sports are the popular activities.
