Situated on Andros Island- Bahamas just a short boat ride from the worlds third largest coral reef; the diving is nothing less than spectacular. But what really sets Small Hope apart is its unique heritage; its simple and friendly ambience and something from the soul that simply cannot be cloned or imitated. Our motto is Rest- Relaxation and Rediscovery. Small Hope Bay Lodge has been catering to scuba divers/ snorkelers/ fishermen and eco-minded tourists since 1960. In addition to having the 3rd largest and one of the worlds most unexplored barrier reefs- Andros is also known as the Bonefishing capital of the world. Fishing excursions can be easily arranged. Families/ couples/ and singles all fit in well at Small Hope. Meals are served family style and the live-on and management staff are always available at mealtimes. Children have their own games room where they eat dinner with our babysitters -babysitting for children 2 to 9 is complimentary between 6.00pm and 8.45pm. Small Hope has 21 rooms in cottages right on one of our two beaches. We are an all-inclusive property. All-inclusive means that your beachfront cottage accommodations/ all meals -great food/ drinks -open bar/ evening conch fritter hors d oeuvres/ Discover Scuba or snorkeling lesson/ kayaks/ bikes/ windsurfers/ nature trails/ Escape sailboat/ hot tub on the beach/ airport taxi transfers/ taxes and service charges are included in your rate. For those of you on the dive package you also get 3 dives per day plus weights/ tanks/ and belt -if you are staying at least 7 nights you get a free night dive. You can also be on the Vacationer Package/ Snorkel Package/ Wedding or honeymoon package. Scuba diving available. Dock and dive shop on premises - diving is extra charge. Snorkeling from shore available at no charge. Discover Scuba or snorkeling lesson is no charge. Complete dive instruction for all levels available at an extra charge. Fishing trips and massage can be arranged for an additional charge.

Make a left when you leave the airport. At the T intersection make a left onto Queens Highway. Go over the bridge -the bridge is single lane and you must take turns- and proceed about 2.5 miles to Small Hope Bay Lodge Road. Make a right and proceed to the end of the road. You will see our parking lot/ office/ and then the beach. You have arrived. Remember to drive on the Left.
